Iron North Outfitting Ltd is located in the Wernecke and Mackenzie Mountains of the Northern Yukon Territory. The nearest road is over 222kms away, or 8-10 days ride on horseback. This makes our territory one of the most remote in the entire world, with almost no resident hunting pressure whatsoever. The remoteness of the concession allows for a truly unique wilderness hunting experience, hard to find anywhere else in the world.
The area is unique in itself, with diverse ecosystems and landscape found within our 4000sq mile hunting area. Home to the headwaters of the Bonnet Plume, Snake, Rackla, Stewart and Nadaleen River systems, the area feeds the surrounding countryside with its abundant wildlife and rich habitats.
Dall Sheep, Alaska-Yukon Moose, Mountain Caribou, and Interior Grizzly bear can all be found within our outfitting concession, along with wolf, black bear and wolverine.
